A prenatal yoga teacher spoke to me recently about doing training in my fear-clearance method, Head Trash Clearance. She was interested in doing it so that she could support her kids. She never considered that it might be a great investment for her business too.

I think that Fearless Birthing Training could be a great investment for Yoga teachers, as a well as being something that can help personally.

So I thought I’d break it down.

Make More Money With Your Classes

Incorporating Fearless Birthing into your Prenatal or Pregnancy Yoga business can help you to generate more revenue in your business.

This can be done in a number of ways depending on your personal style, the focus of your work, your current clients, the opportunities in your community and your skills or activities in the digital space.

For those with a Yoga membership, or that provide online classes, this could be a natural next step.

I’m going to share some of the ways you can do this, but first Id like to explain why I think combining Head Trash Clearance with a Yoga Practice makes sense.

Here’s why I see it being a great fit…

The Benefits of Attending Pregnancy Yoga Classes

When people sign up for pilates or yoga classes, they aren’t just looking for a fitness class. Yoga classes offer many benefits beyond the exercise aspect.

They are also interested in the other benefits that come from doing yoga…

  • improved balance – both internal and physical
  • something to help them feel more grounded and calm
  • mental and physical preparation for the birth
  • more flexibility (physical and internally)
  • more resilience (physical and internally)
  • inner peace

But that’s not all.

Community

Some of the best yoga teachers I’ve known create a strong sense of community around their classes. Friendships are formed that are extended beyond the classes, and people end up making valuable connections. For women who attend pregnancy yoga, this sense of community can make a real difference to their pregnancy experience and to life as new mama.

This helps people feel supported in more ways that just the exercise.

Self care

Great pregnancy yoga classes are a brilliant form of for self-care. Choosing to take time out of your day and dedicate it to your own health and wellbeing is a powerful message to yourself when it comes to putting yourself first. Not to mention the benefits for baby.

Mind-body connection

Those who are interested in yoga understand the holistic nature of our health, and how our mind and body are connected. When we are feeling down mentally or emotionally, doing exercise can really make a difference. In fact, many people come to yoga classes to help them feel better mentally and emotionally. This mind-body connection is well understood and appreciated.

Given this, it’s a natural next step to incorporate mental or emotional support aspects to the classes, and for the community.

How Fearless Birthing Training for Pregnancy Yoga Teachers could look like

The technique at the core of Fearless Birthing, Head Trash Clearance, is a flexible technique that works just as well in a group setting as it does in a private one-to-one setting.

This means that it can be used in a multitude of ways to offer different levels of support depending on what’s appropriate or required.

I’ve run many group clearance sessions whether they’ve been in person or online, and it’s a great way to enable lots of people to benefit from powerful healing experiences. It also offers a way for people to access healing who might otherwise not be able to due to cost or in-affordability.

With mental health reaching crisis levels, being able to offer emotional wellbeing support to your community – even at a light level – can make a huge difference to people’s lives.

Due to its flexible nature, you are able to incorporate aspects that work for you and your personal style, as well as what will work best for your clients.

9 reasons why Fearless Birthing Training for Pregnancy Yoga can help your yoga business

Here are some of the ways that this training can help you to experience personal and business growth;

1. The Perfect Ending for a Class

A Head Trash Clearance group session can be a perfect ending for a prenatal or pregnancy yoga class.

A teacher could finish off each class with a powerfully, deep healing session. Often the clearance experience is very relaxing and calming so this could be a great way to finish a class. Many people report that they sleep better after their clearances so this is a nice thing to offer to your class attendees.

  • A teacher may choose to focus on certain aspects in the class and could provide a clearance session at the end that supports the theme of the yoga or pilates class.
  • All class attendees could be asked what they’re struggling with at the start of the class, and a relevant clearance or healing can be offered at the end of the class.
  • A theme could be communicated ahead of time or to fit with whatever’s going on in peoples’ lives.
  • When classes are for certain groups of people – like pregnancy or new mums – then clearance/healing sessions can be offered that support them on that journey, thus making the classes for mind AND body.

This is a light way of introducing Head Trash Clearance to your current set-up and enables your class attendees to get a taste of it, which could then whet their appetite for other new experiences you can offer them.

2. Create New Specific Mind-Body Programs

Specific mind and body programs could be run that blend the mindset with the physical or fitness aspect. In these experiences the mental/emotional and body aspects are given equal focus. Adding this kind training for Pregnancy Yoga teachers provides options for expanding into new areas that are complimentary to mind-body practices like yoga.

Programs like this would be ideal for helping those that are looking for support around things like pregnancy, losing weight, post-natal recovery, or de-stressing.

And, because class attendees are accessing a deeper level of support than they are for the regular pilates or yoga class, a higher price can be charged which means more revenue for your business.

This can work equally well in-person or online.

3. Help Your Clients to go Deeper in Their Practice With You

A teacher can create additional group sessions for any class attendees who would like to go deeper with their practice. In these sessions, much more of the class time is spent doing group clearance.

This inner work could be around helping them to improve their flexibility in achieving the movements of the class; removing internal resistance or blocks that are getting in the way of them fully letting go or expanding.

Our body is a reflection of what’s going on in our minds and we carry our trapped emotions in our body. A teacher can help their clients to release physical and emotional blocks that are hindering their yoga or pilates practice.

4. Create New Experiences for your Current Clients

Yoga teachers can offer separate group clearance experiences which offer additional revenue possibilities. This is also a great way to stand out from other pregnancy yoga classes and teachers.

The yoga teacher is well-placed to offer additional group sessions for class attendees. The relationship is already established and they know their tribe . This makes it easy for them to identify relevant themes that their tribe would benefit from getting support for.

For example, let’s say you offer Pregnancy Yoga. You could add emotional support sessions to help them to lose the common fears that they may be experiencing. Or, if you offer Post-Natal or Post-op Recovery Classes, you can provide sessions to help them better cope with the changes they’re experiencing.

5. Earn More by Offering One-to-one Sessions

Once the class have experienced the group sessions, certain individuals may want to receive one-to-one support.

Offering one-to-one sessions have the benefit of not needing room hire and can be done online, which means that teachers can easily earn extra more money without incurring additional costs.

6. Create Fear Clearance Audio Tracks

Many pilates and yoga teachers create videos for their community, with some creating online programs or memberships. If creating video content is something you’re doing already, then adding audio tracks will come easy to you.

But you don’t need to have online programs or memberships to be able to create audio tracks.

Head Trash Clearance works brilliantly as recorded audio tracks so tracks can be created for specific classes or groups of people and offered so that people can make use of them at home.

This is great for these reasons

  • no extra time at the end of classes for you – just the up-front time to record the track
  • you could simply sell bundles of audio clearances with class sign-ups
  • listening to your voice outside of the class strengthens the connection they have with you
  • you’re supporting them in complementary ways outside of the class
  • perfect for pregnancy, new mama or weight loss groups
  • ideal to add to memberships where you’re already sharing workout videos and other related content

These have all been professional reasons why I think training in Head Trash Clearance would be great for Yoga and teachers. And I haven’t even got to the personal reasons!

So let’s cover those off too.

How Training Will Help You Personally

The Fearless Birthing Training places you at the centre. We don’t just impart the technique and teach you how to use it. Before we do any of that, we focus on you. That’s because, the best practitioners are those who understand the technique deeply, and it’s difficult to do that if you haven’t really experienced it for yourself.

How can you help someone else walk a path that you yourself haven’t walked? And, how can you help someone else achieve personal change when you haven’t wrestled with undertaking that personal change in yourself?

7. You Experience Significant Healing As Part of the Training

Fearless Birthing Training training is in three parts, and the first part is you!

During this part of the training, you undertake your own personal clearance under my guidance. You need to undertake a minimum amount of personal clearance work before you can continue on the course.

This means that you undertake a significant amount of personal healing in a very short space of time. Many people find this transformational and tell us how they’ve ditched their anxiety or noisy chatterbox heads in that time.

Doing this personal healing can create a ripple effect throughout your life as you change and evolve into a calmer and more confident you. This shift that you experience provides you with valuable experience and stories that you can share with your tribe to inspire them. Everyone loves a good transformation story!

And you will have plenty of your own that you can share.

8. Support Your Family

I’ve been using Head Trash Clearance with my kids since they were around three years old. The first fears I helped them with were monsters under the bed, dinosaurs and spiders. It’s remarkable how quickly they take to it. Over time, they start to see what we’re doing and are able to do their own clearances, but they always prefer it when mummy does it!

Now that my eldest is in high school, we are using it in ways that help her to be more confident and to not get as stressed about things at school.

How many other professional development or training for pregnancy yoga can help you with that?

9. You Will Always Have a Powerful Self-healing Tool at Your Finger Tips

Once you are trained in Head Trash Clearance, you will be able to use on all of your personal triggers, stresses, fears and anxieties. And, the more you undertake personal clearance, the more you will experience transformation. You will activate your own sense of inner power and can bring about the personal changes in your life that you’ve always sought.

You become your very own Head Trash Coach! And, if you ever want to move on from pregnancy yoga, you already have something else you’re trained in.
