My petition calling for Channel 4 to portray childbirth in a more balanced way
October was a busy month for my campaign for the media to portray childbirth in a more balanced way as media coverage for my petition heated up. It all started when I wrote a piece for The Daily Mail which then got picked up by The Sun, Huffington Post and The Metro. The Sun, as we would expect totally sensationalised it and claimed that I was calling for a ban of One Born Every Minute, which, let me be clear; I am not! I was subsequently invited for a debate on BBC Radio 5 Live along with a producer of One Born Every Minute. the following day I was invited onto a Dublin radio station, Spin 108, to continue the debate.
