This Birth Affirmations Meditation has been created for you to listen to during labour and birth so that you can focus on staying in a positive mindset.
The birthing affirmations brought together in this meditation have been used by women around the world to help them to get into a positive mindset in preparing for their birth.
Affirmations are positive statements and words of encouragement, and they can help and support you during labour as you focus on staying in your birthing bubble. By having a voice and some positive statements to focus on, you can keep your mind clear or fear which can help you to stay calm.
This Birth Affirmations Meditation track has been created with soothing background music so that you can listen to it during labour and stay in a relaxed, hypnotic state.
The meditation also includes a voice-only track in case you prefer to listen to it with music of your choice (some people like to dance to help their baby out!)
Either way, if you want you can keep this track on repeat as you labour.
Birth Affirmations Meditation
Some of the affirmations you will hear during this meditation include;
- I soften, I open, I release
- My baby knows what to do and we are working together
- I can do anything for a minute
- With each deep breath my baby is coming nearer to being in my arms
- Each wave brings me closer to my baby
This meditation differs from the Birth Affirmations for Pregnancy meditation in that the language is expressed in the present (as opposed to a future event) and it includes mantras that are more appropriate to being in labour.
This meditation lasts 21 minutes and is delivered by Alexia (in her British accent!).
