Write for Fear Free Childbirth
We publish writers who know this territory – birth professionals, researchers, therapists, counsellors, and women with stories that deserve telling.
What we’re looking for
- Expert pieces – tokophobia, pregnancy anxiety, birth fear, reproductive trauma, perinatal mental health
- Lived-experience stories – healing journeys, positive births after fear, the decisions fear shaped
- Research translation – making studies useful to real women
What you get
Editorial contributions are unpaid – and valuable. A byline on a DA 34 publication read in 180+ countries, a full author bio with links to your practice or work, and an audience that genuinely needs what you know.
The guidelines
- 800–1,500 words, original, never published elsewhere
- UK English, written for readers not for search engines
- No promotional content – your bio is where you tell people what you do (if you want to promote a product or service, see advertise)
- We edit. You approve. We publish.
- Trauma-aware writing is non-negotiable: no shock-value birth stories, no fear-mongering, context before impact. Our editorial standards apply to every piece; we’ll send our storytelling standards with your acceptance.
Pitch us
Name, role, links, and a 2–3 sentence pitch.
